My name is Shirley Chan and this blog aims to explore the current issues and applications in educational computing. I am currently in my third year at the University of Technology Sydney, studying a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education. I am looking forward to discovering new and interesting applications which the computing world provides for primary school classrooms, and discussing them with fellow educators.

I have two older sisters and two dogs (a Golden Labrador, ‘Allie’ & a Border Collie X, ‘Zac’). Aside from my studies, I work at a childcare centre which caters for 3-6 year olds and I love it! I also enjoy playing music; I predominately play the piano, violin and flute among other instruments. Any other spare time is spent with the music and Youth work at my church such as preparing activities. I also enjoy helping out in any way that I am able and needed.
